Partners for Impact.\nWhat we offer\nThe opportunity to lead the team that builds and runs enterprise AI solutions for a large-scale AI transformation.\n\nReal ownership: you set the technical direction of your team's solutions and you are accountable for what goes to production.\n\nA hands-on leadership role: you still design and build, while you grow the engineers around you.\n\nRegular collaboration with senior technical and business stakeholders across a complex, international organization.\n\nExposure to a wide variety of AI tools, platforms, and frameworks in a fast-evolving technology landscape.\n\nA dynamic, diverse team environment with strong peer learning and knowledge-sharing culture.\n\nWhat you will do\nLead a small team of AI Solutions Engineers: plan and distribute the work, review designs and code, and unblock delivery.\n\nCoach and mentor engineers, take part in hiring, and raise the team's engineering and AI practices.\n\nBe the technical point of contact for client and business stakeholders: run discovery, frame trade-offs, and explain technical constraints and risks in clear business language.\n\nOwn the solution design of your team's AI applications and stay hands-on in building them.\n\nTake solutions from prototype to production: technical specifications, follow-up of development, and acceptance testing against quality and performance standards.\n\nApply the architectural standards and reference architectures of the AI platform, and feed lessons from delivery back into them.\n\nMake sure your team's solutions are secure, observable, and cost-efficient in production, including model updates and dependency management.\n\nIdentify technical risks early and propose mitigations that protect delivery timelines and solution integrity.\n\nWhat you will bring\n6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps/cloud engineering, or AI engineering, including at least 3 years building and running cloud-based systems in production.\n\n2+ years of technical leadership - as a tech lead, lead engineer, or engineering manager - with a track record of guiding and mentoring other engineers.\n\nSolid software development skills (Python preferred).\n\nAt least one LLM-based solution delivered to production (RAG, agents, orchestration frameworks, vector databases) - we look at what you shipped, not at years of GenAI experience.\n\nDaily, hands-on use of AI-assisted development and agentic tools (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and a clear view of how to use them well in a team.\n\nExperience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and with CI/CD, containerisation (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code.\n\nAbility to explain technical constraints and risks clearly to business and project stakeholders.\n\nFluency in English.\n\nNice to have\nAzure (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI) and Databricks.\n\nKubernetes and production monitoring/observability tooling.\n\nData architecture knowledge: data warehousing, data lakes, governance frameworks.\n\nLLM evaluation, guardrails, and AI governance practices.\n\nExperience in international, consulting, or scale-up environments.\n\nWe are united by our differences\nAt Metyis, we are driven by curiosity and collaboration.
