Partners for Impact.\nWhat we offer:\nInteract with senior stakeholders at our clients on regular basis to drive their business towards impactful change\n\nBecome the go-to person for end-to-end data handling, management, and analytics processes\n\nWorking with Data Scientists to take data throughout its lifecycle - acquisition, exploration, data cleaning, integration, analysis, interpretation, and visualization\n\nBecome part of a fast-growing international and diverse team\n\nWhat you will do:\nDiagnose problems, disaggregate issues, develop hypotheses and execute relevant solutions\n\nCollaborate and work closely with teams to better understand the end-user requirements\n\nDevelop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and other technologies, ensuring efficient and cost-aware processes\n\nMonitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly\n\nWork with Azure Data Lake Storage to manage and store large datasets, ensuring data is easily accessible and well-organized\n\nImplement data quality and data governance best practices to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data\n\nWork closely with data scientists to understand their data requirements and provide the necessary support for their analytics and machine learning tasks\n\nStay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering, cloud technologies, and big data tools\n\nCreate and maintain documentation related to data pipelines, data storage, and data processing workflows\n\nWhat you´ll bring:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field\n\nMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in a data engineering role\n\nProficiency in SQL and Python\n\nExperience with Databricks or other pay-as-you-go DWH technologies\n\nFamiliarity with big data technologies and distributed processing tools\n\nUnderstanding of data integration and ELT processes\n\nGood problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment\n\nFluency in English and Spanish\n\nCatalan is a nice to have\n\nAt Metyis, we are driven by curiosity and collaboration.
