Partners for Impact.\nWhat we offer\nInteract with C-level at our clients on regular basis to drive their business towards impactful change.\n\nLead your team in creating new business solutions.\n\nSeize opportunities at the client and at Metyis in our entrepreneurial environment.\n\nBecome part of a fast-growing international and diverse team.\n\nWhat you will do\nIndependently lead & manage execution of data engineering projects\n\nEngineer complete technical solutions to solve concrete business challenges in the areas of digital marketing, eCommerce, Business Intelligence and self-service analytics\n\nCollect functional and non-functional requirements, consider technical environments, business constraints and enterprise organizations\n\nSupport our clients in executing their Big Data strategies by designing and building operational data platforms: ETL pipelines, data anonymization pipelines, data lakes, near real-time streaming data hubs, web services, training and scoring machine learning models.\n\nTroubleshoot and quality check work done by team members\n\nCollaborate closely with partners, strategy consultants and data scientists in a flat and agile organization where personal initiative is highly valued\n\nShare data engineering knowledge by giving technical trainings\n\nCommunicate and interact with clients at the executive level\n\nGuide and mentor team members\n\nWhat you will bring\n7-10 years of professional hands-on experience\n\nA broad practice in multiple software engineering fields\n\nExperience on managing & leading data engineering / warehousing projects\n\nMust have experience on Python, SQL and Distributed programming languages, preferable Spark\n\nExperience working on Cloud, Azure is a plus\n\nExperience working setting up data lakes using entire Big Data and DWH ecosystem\n\nExperience on data workflows and ETL, Apache Airflow is a plus\n\nComfortable with Unix OS type systems, Bash and Linux\n\nBasic knowledge of webservices and APIs\n\nBasic knowledge of Containers and Docker as platform\n\nExperience using Version Control, Testing and development cycle, preferable git (Gitlab or GitHub)\n\nKnowledge of security practices\n\nSoftware development practices (Agile)\n\nA Strong Focus On Data Processing\n\nObject oriented programming\n\nData workflows, monitoring, architecture and security\n\nDatabases: theory and practice\n\nDistributed data processing\n\nConcepts of functional programming\n\nEnterprise data warehousing, business intelligence and ETL principles\n\nGood written and oral communication skills in English language\n\nWe are united by our differences\nAt Metyis, we are driven by curiosity and collaboration.
