From optimising supply chains across Europe to enhancing operational efficiency in South America, we connect the dots for SHV, shaping a data-driven future for the entire family of companies.\nWhat we offer\nA hands-on opportunity to help build data governance in practice within one of the SHV Groups, moving beyond theory into real business impact.\n\nThe chance to shape the first reusable data governance building blocks for Adaptfy and the wider SHV family of companies, including templates, ways of working, and practical implementation approaches.\n\nA collaborative and inclusive work environment at Adaptfy, the central data, AI, and analytics business unit supporting SHV companies globally.\n\nExposure to business and IT stakeholders across Adaptfy and SHV, starting with one embedded group implementation and growing towards broader cross-group impact.\n\nSenior support and coaching from experienced Adaptfy colleagues in data, analytics, architecture, privacy, security, and business consulting.\n\nA role with strong learning and growth potential, ideal for someone who wants to develop into a broader data governance leadership position.\n\nA hybrid working model, with regular travel to SHV companies during key phases of the implementation to build relationships, facilitate workshops, and embed new ways of working.\n\nA culture that values curiosity, ownership, diversity, equity, inclusion, high ethical standards, confidentiality, and responsible use of data.\n\nEngagement with industry trends, new technologies, and evolving data governance practices, fostering lifelong learning and professional growth.\n\nWhat you will do\nYou will help one SHV Group turn data governance from concept into daily practice, starting with the domain where the value and the stakeholder buy-in are highest, then help Adaptfy turn what works into reusable methods for other SHV companies.\nIdentify priority stakeholders, pain points, and governance gaps together with business and IT.\n\nDefine clear ownership, data owners, stewards, custodians, and decision forums, and get stakeholders to commit to them.\n\nFacilitate workshops to align business and technical stakeholders on ownership, definitions, and decision-making.\n\nTurn what works into reusable templates, playbooks, and accelerators for other SHV Groups.\n\nDraw on Adaptfy' s technical, architecture, and privacy specialists to execute the detailed technical work.\n\nWhat you will bring\nExperience initiating a data or governance effort from scratch, including securing sponsorship and stakeholder buy-in, not only joining one that someone else already set up.\n\nComfortable, and energized, engaging senior business stakeholders directly, building those relationships yourself rather than being introduced into existing ones.\n\nAbility to take a broad, ambiguous mandate and structure it into a clear first starting point.\n\nStrong communication skills, able to translate data concepts into business value for both technical and business audiences.\n\n4 to 6 years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, analytics, business analysis, or a related field, still growing toward a broader governance leadership role.\n\nWorking understanding of data platforms and why governance matters.\n\nProactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and resilient.\n\nNice to have:\nFamiliarity with governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, CDMP) or tools (Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Microsoft Purview).\n\nExperience in ESG, Finance, HR, Operations, Supply Chain, or another domain where data ownership matters.\n\nExperience in a consulting, international, or multi-entity organization.\n\nBasic SQL, BI, or data platform knowledge, and awareness of GDPR or other data protection principles.\n\nWe are united by our differences\nAt Metyis, we are driven by curiosity and collaboration.
