Partners for Impact.\nWhat we offer\nA hands-on opportunity to help our clients build and embed data governance in practice, moving beyond theory into real business impact.\n\nThe opportunity to shape reusable data governance building blocks, including templates, ways of working and practical implementation approaches.\n\nRegular interaction with senior business and IT stakeholders to drive impactful change.\n\nCollaboration with experienced Metyis colleagues across data, analytics, architecture, privacy, security and business consulting.\n\nExposure to different clients, industries and complex data environments.\n\nThe opportunity to grow towards broader data governance leadership while contributing to a fast-growing international and diverse team.\n\nEngagement with evolving data governance practices, industry trends and new technologies.\n\nWhat you will do\nHelp clients turn data governance from concept into daily practice, starting with areas where business value and stakeholder buy-in are highest.\n\nIdentify priority stakeholders, business pain points and governance gaps together with business and IT teams.\n\nDefine clear ownership, including Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Custodians and decision forums, and support stakeholders in adopting these responsibilities.\n\nFacilitate workshops to align business and technical stakeholders on ownership, definitions and decision-making.\n\nTranslate broad and ambiguous data governance challenges into clear and actionable implementation approaches.\n\nSupport the implementation and embedding of governance into clients’ day-to-day ways of working.\n\nTurn successful approaches into reusable templates, playbooks and accelerators that can be applied across projects and clients.\n\nCollaborate with Metyis specialists across data, analytics, architecture and privacy for detailed technical implementation.\n\nWhat you will bring\nExperience initiating a data or governance effort from scratch, including securing sponsorship and stakeholder buy-in, not only joining one that someone else already set up.\n\nComfortable, and energized, engaging senior business stakeholders directly, building those relationships yourself rather than being introduced into existing ones.\n\nAbility to take a broad, ambiguous mandate and structure it into a clear first starting point.\n\nStrong communication skills, able to translate data concepts into business value for both technical and business audiences.\n\n4 to 6 years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, analytics, business analysis, or a related field, still growing toward a broader governance leadership role.\n\nWorking understanding of data platforms and why governance matters.\n\nProactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and resilient.\n\nNice to have:\nFamiliarity with governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, CDMP) or tools (Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Microsoft Purview).\n\nExperience in ESG, Finance, HR, Operations, Supply Chain, or another domain where data ownership matters.\n\nExperience in a consulting, international, or multi-entity organization.\n\nBasic SQL, BI, or data platform knowledge, and awareness of GDPR or other data protection principles.\n\nWe are united by our differences\nAt Metyis, we are driven by curiosity and collaboration.
