responsible for the reliability, security, performance, and availability of Mevotech's on-premises and cloud infrastructure.\nAs a senior technical leader, you'll provide expertise across enterprise infrastructure technologies including:\nMicrosoft Azure\n\nHybrid Cloud Environments\n\nVMware Virtualization\n\nWindows Server Administration\n\nLinux Server Administration\n\nActive Directory Services\n\nDNS & DHCP\n\nBackup & Disaster Recovery Solutions\n\nInfrastructure Automation\n\nBusiness Continuity Planning\n\nWorking closely with Infrastructure, Network, Security, and Application teams, you'll support critical production systems while driving modernization initiatives and continuous improvement across the enterprise.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnterprise Infrastructure Administration\nManage and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments to ensure maximum uptime, performance, and reliability.\n\nAdminister Windows Server and Linux environments across multiple locations.\n\nManage VMware virtualization platforms and virtual infrastructure.\n\nSupport and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services.\n\nMonitor infrastructure health, performance, capacity, and availability.\n\nImplement infrastructure standards, policies, and operational best practices.\n\nManage patching, upgrades, maintenance windows, and hardware lifecycle planning. \nAzure & Hybrid Cloud Operations\nServe as the technical lead for Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services. \nManage Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Identity, Monitoring, and Security solutions.\n\nSupport hybrid infrastructure environments connecting on-premises and cloud platforms.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex Azure and infrastructure issues.\n\nEnsure cloud services align with security, compliance, and operational standards. \nBackup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity\nOwn enterprise backup and recovery solutions and processes.\n\nDefine and maintain Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs).\n\nPerform backup validation, recovery testing, and disaster recovery exercises.\n\nDevelop and maintain disaster recovery plans, documentation, and recovery runbooks.\n\nContinuously improve infrastructure resilience and business continuity capabilities.\nTechnical Leadership & Escalation Support\n\nAct as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents.\n\nLead root cause investigations and implement long-term corrective actions.\n\nMentor and support junior team members and IT colleagues.\n\nPartner with Network, Security, and Application teams to improve service delivery.\n\nParticipate in on-call rotations and after-hours support activities when required.\n\nInfrastructure Projects & Continuous Improvement\nLead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation.\n\nIdentify opportunities for automation using PowerShell and other technologies.\n\nMaintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, policies, and operational procedures.\n\nSupport cybersecurity and compliance initiatives across the infrastructure landscape.\n\nDrive initiatives including:\nCloud migrations\n\nInfrastructure modernization\n\nServer upgrades\n\nData center optimization\n\nVirtualization enhancements\n\nCommunications and phone system improvements\n\nIdeal Qualifications\n5-7+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Administration, or related roles.\n\nBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nExperience supporting enterprise hybrid cloud environments.\n\nProven Microsoft Azure administration experience.\n\nStrong VMware virtualization expertise.\n\nExperience administering Windows Server and Linux environments.\n\nExperience managing enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.\n\nStrong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and core infrastructure services.\n\nExperience with infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, and system performance optimization.\n\nFamiliarity with PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation.\n\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity best practices, identity management, and governance frameworks.\n\nPhysical Demands And Working Conditions\nHybrid work model consisting of four (4) days onsite and one (1) day remote per week.\n\nPrimarily office and computer-based work environment.\n\nOccasional lifting and handling of IT infrastructure equipment and hardware.\n\nParticipation in scheduled after-hours maintenance activities and on-call support rotations as required.\n\nOccasional travel to company facilities, data centers, and vendor locations.\n\nAbility to respond effectively during critical incidents, service disruptions, or disaster recovery
