Accountabilities/Responsibilities:-

• Lead the review and delivery of accuratebalance sheet and income statement reporting on both Group and local statutory bases for assigned M&G Insurance entities, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS and Solvency II requirements.
• Oversee quarterly GL close activities, reconciliations and analytical reviews for assets, liabilities, revenue and expenses, ensuring completeness, accuracy, timelysign-off and robust evidence retention.
• Manage and review Tagetik submissions for disclosure reporting, including annual disclosure ,ensuring output is complete, consistentand delivered to agreed timelines.
• Oversee Solvency II reporting inputs and supporting workings, including quarterly and annual QRTs for balance sheet, assets, own funds, premiums, claimsand expenses, with appropriate reviewand challenge.
• Provide senior oversight of product-level analysis for Unit-Linked and With Profits business, including charges, expenses, movementsand drivers of variance.
• Lead resolution of validation errors, mapping issuesand late adjustment requirements by coordinating with Finance Operations, Reporting Analysis, Change and Technology teams.
• Support upcoming product launches by reviewing mapping updates, Tagetik disclosure changes, testing outputs and implementation impactson reporting and controls.
• Maintaina strong financial control environment through documented review, issue tracking, exception management, WIT updatesand process standardisation.
• Act as a senior point of contact for internal and external audit queries, ensuring audit evidence is complete, accurateand provided within required timelines.
• Provide guidance, coaching and review support to team members, helping prioritise activities across and annual reporting peaks.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation opportunities and control enhancements to reduce manual effort, improve process resilienceand strengthen reporting quality.
• Build effective relationships across M&G Finance, Actuarial, Finance Operations, Group Reporting, Change, Technologyand external stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are understood and delivered.
