We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Owner's Rep team in Goodyear, AZ with Data Center experience.\nResponsibilities\nLead all aspects of assigned responsibilities on construction projects, not limited to, but inclusive of the following:\nProject set up with project budget and schedule creation including oversight.\nRFP development, pre-bid planning, oversight, and coordination.\nLeading all design phases and document management working internally with stakeholder groups and SME’s.\nCoordination and supervision of contractors. Either traditional contractors or design build contractors.\nOversight of physical construction activities on site.\nLeading commissioning of critical systems integration across new customer builds and existing data centers.\nHand-off of physical data center and project documents to customer and operations.\nManagement in contractor safety performance.\nCoordination and logistical planning for all OFCI equipment.\nManagement of project scope, safety, schedule, stakeholder, data center work rules, and budget.\nDrive all aspects of construction including pre-construction, design development, permitting and entitlements, competitive bid process, team selection, construction oversight, commissioning, and project closeout.\nAct as project leader, drive coordination and integration of internal customers within the project.\nFor assigned construction projects, manage General Contractors and vendors project management resources.\nReport to assigned Client's Special Projects team and manager.\nManage assigned portfolio execution on projects from concept through commissioning and prepare various reports on a monthly and/or quarterly basis.\nDrive day-to-day construction decisions to conclusion.\nQA/QC work of assigned projects to confirm accuracy.\nHandle inputs and delivery of work products with internal team members to ensure that new data center spaces follow all applicable client requirements.\nEstablish and track project budgets. Submit approval packages to TOF approval group.\nPartner with Base Building Director(s), Construction Cost & Finance to produce monthly project forecasts including variance analyses as well as execution of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and project authorizations for new and existing contractors and vendors.\nVendor/Contractor management including qualification and relationship building/maintenance.\nReview monthly billing with team, confirm substantiation and audit vs budget.\nEnsure ‘lessons learned’ are held and placed in the feedback loop to drive continuous improvement.\nEnsure project team aligns with project turnover documentation requirements to Operations.\nWork closely with Operations to coordinate design criteria and construction with ongoing maintenance and operation of existing facilities.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or a similar field.\n5+ years of project management experience is required, 7-10 years is preferred.\nSophisticated and technical construction experience is required.\nData Center and General Contractor experience is preferred.\nExperience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) construction management is a requirement.\nProficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools like MS Project or P6.\nKnowledge of Procore software preferred.\nTravel may be required and could grow, but will be assessed by the project team.\nAbility to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.\nWhat We Offer\nAt Colliers Engineering & Design, our people are our most important resource.
