The Senior Network Engineer serves as an escalation point to aid in the resolution of operational incidents within the scope of the tool set. The candidate will drive future development of enterprise platforms and project on premises in the cloud and provide technical delivery of tasks to support projects within the organization. The Senior Network Engineer is expected to possess strong technical and leadership skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and provide problem resolutions, the ability to lead and drive projects to completion, and the ability to mentor other team members in supported technologies. The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with cross functional teams, upper management, and key stakeholders as necessary. The role requires that the individual ensures system hardware, operating systems, systems software, and related procedures adhere to organizational standards and industry best practices.\nTHE DAY-TO-DAY:\nDisplay the ability to collaborate with Project Management, Architecture, Applications Support, Development teams and leadership with little supervision, along with participation in technology roadmaps and fiscal budgeting processes.\nProvide overall technical leadership on projects, while driving project tasks and team deliverables.\nDisplay the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment with minimal supervision to drive tasks to achieve project milestones and deadlines.\nMonitor and maintain components of the Network Technology stack verifying the integrity and availability of all software, server resources, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, along with verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.\nDrive vulnerability management per security standards including developing process and procedures in support of security standards.\nMaintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment.\nPerform security administration, account management, technology reviews.\nProvide performance and capacity monitoring and reporting.\nProvide ongoing performance tuning and resource optimization as required.\nProvide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies.\nRepair and recover from hardware or software failures.\nTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:\nHas 5+ Years of prior relevant experience and a track record of competency in the field of information security intelligence, vulnerability management or incident response.\nHave a Bachelor's Degree - Preferred\nHas 5+ Years of prior relevant experience in a technical role in a large enterprise environment supporting both on-premand cloud networks - Preferred\nHas 5+ Years of prior relevant experience in Information Technology or Intelligence - Preferred\nExperience building, deploying, supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting Network solutions - Preferred\nExtensive Technical knowledge of enterprise infrastructure applications such as Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet Firewalls - Preferred\nIndustry Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet, JNCIE, Palo Alto, CWNA, CISSP, CCIE, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, OCSA - Preferred\nExperience operating network, infrastructure, and cloud security controls - Preferred\nExperience leveraging a development language to automate workflows, analysis, orintegrations (PowerShell, Python, Ansible etc.) - Preferred\nTHE PERKS & BENEFITS:\nWellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally\nAccess to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more\nFree parking on and off shift\nHealth & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)\nProfessional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION:\nhttps://mgmresorts.marketpayjobs.com/ShowJob.aspx?EntityID=2&jobcode=12382\nAre you ready to JOIN THE SHOW?
