This role is tasked with optimizing delivery of core Technology initiatives by catering project management techniques to minimize risk, meet timelines and achieve project goals. This position will plan and execute on projects in partnership with program managers, product managers, internal stakeholders, and external vendors. The Technical Project Manager regularly maintains core project deliverables such as the project plan, project status, risks, dependencies, and scope documents.\nTHE DAY-TO-DAY:\nLead planning and management of small to large-scale enterprise projects within the Technology\ndepartment portfolio.\nDevelop and maintain all project deliverables including the project timeline, project status, scope,\npriorities, milestones, and risks.\nDemonstrate indirect leadership to coordinate activities across project managers, product managers,\ntechnical and business stakeholders maintaining alignment towards project goals and timelines.\nDrive collaboration towards issue resolution, problem solve to maintain projects on track, and proactively\ncommunicate project roadblocks, dependencies, risks, and issues.\nAbility to motivate team members to drive towards progress and maintain focus when faced with project\nadversity.\nSupport PMO reporting by regularly preparing status reports, communications, and presentations across all\nlevels of the organization to ensure consistent alignment on progress and strategic direction.\nCollaborate across internal teams and external vendors to obtain buy in on project timeline and resources\nrequired to achieve project goals.\nTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:\nBachelor's Degree Required\n5+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Required\nProject management certification (PMP, CSM, ACP)\nPrevious technical experience or certifications\nPrevious experience using hybrid project management and agile scrum methodologies\nPrevious experience using Project Management tools, methodologies and techniques\nthroughout all phases of the project lifecycle\nPrevious experience leading Technology projects managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, risks, reporting and metric development/tracking.\nProven track record of successfully leading projects on time and within budget\nInterest in Technology, Transformation, and Process Improvement\nExperience working in a similar Technology, Hospitality, or Gaming setting\nTHE PERKS & BENEFITS:\nPrioritize your wellness, access programs crafted to nurture your mental and physical health. \nEnjoy unbeatable discounts on hotel stays, dining, retail, entertainment, and exclusive partner perks for travel, tech, and beyond! \nPark with ease-whether you're on or off shift, it's free! \nFrom healthcare to financial support and generous time-off options, we’ve got you covered. \nElevate your career with development programs, connect through networking events, and make a difference with community volunteer opportunities. \nVIEW JOB DESCRIPTION:\nhttps://mgmresorts.marketpayjobs.com/ShowJob.aspx?EntityID=2&jobcode=12235\nAre you ready to JOIN THE SHOW?
