Responsibilities:\nAct as the onsite contact for the Food Warehouse, responsible for the organization, coordination, and inventory of the USDA Food Programs in compliance with program regulations.\nEnsure quality program delivery by providing healthy food to low-income households.\nProtect the privacy of customers and hold in confidence all information obtained in the course of service.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nProvide onsite support to the Food Distribution Drivers, Warehouse Techs, and volunteers.\nOversee staff, volunteers, community service participants, and food pantry partners to distribute TEFAP food.\nCoordinate all warehouse inventory activities, including inventory control, cycle counts, reconciliation, tracking, and reporting to ensure accurate records and accountability of USDA and partner food resources.\nCoordinate ordering, receiving, and distribution of food supplies from USDA, food bank partners, vendors, and donors.\nWork with the Director of Community Impact to develop and execute food distribution menus and allocation plans that meet program requirements and community needs.\nOversee the planning, packing, loading, and organization of distribution trucks to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely deliveries throughout the service area.\nCoordinate food box assembly line operations, including volunteer assignments, quality control, and safety compliance.\nRegularly monitor food distribution sites for compliance.\nOversee the activities of the Clare County Food Pantry.\nParticipate in personal and professional development activities, including staff meetings, conferences, training opportunities, as identified and approved by supervisors.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEducation and Experience Qualifications:\nMust possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.\nData entry experience required.\nExperience in human services, specifically with low-income populations preferred.\nForklift certification or ability to pass certification within the first 30 days.\nAdditional Requirements:\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or other form.\nMust have proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Internet)\nDemonstrated communication skills both oral and written.\nMust be highly organized and people oriented.\nSuccessful clearance of DHHS Central Registry and criminal history record check.\nMust have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, provide proof of insurance, and pass MMCAA’s “Insurance Carriers” driving record review/motor vehicle check.\nMust comply with Agency smoke free and drug free policies.\nUnderstand the importance of daily work
