Myers/Naples, Houston, Indianapolis, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh, San Antonio, Sarasota, and Tampa.\nJob Summary:\nThe Learning and Development Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our organization’s employees. This multifaceted role involves managing our Learning Management System (LMS), creating and curating content, and being accountable for the strategic direction of eLearning at M/I Homes.\n Duties and Responsibilities\nProject Management\nMaintain a record of courses in progress and as well as build a pipeline for future work\nBuild relationships with subject matter experts in other departments to identify new work and leverage their expertise when building current courses\nEstablish feedback loops and check ins when projects hit obstacles in order to keep SMEs accountable\nTraining Program Implementation\nMonitor and track employee progress, completion rates and feedback within the LMS.\nProvide regular reports and insights to measure the effectiveness of training programs.\nCreate quarterly newsletters and annual wrap-up reports for the company\nManage weekly user upload reports via our HRIS\nLearning Management System (LMS) Management\nOversee the day-to-day operations of the LMS, ensuring its functionality, accessibility, and user-friendliness.\nCollaborate with the LMS support team as well as IT and HR to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure system integration with other tools.\nKeep up-to-date with industry trends and LMS best practices to optimize system functionality.\nContent Development and Curation\nWork with the L&D Coordinator to determine training priorities, resources, standards and course review. \nDevelop engaging and interactive learning materials, including eLearning modules, videos, quizzes, and other training resources.\nCollaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and provide relevant content whether through creation of a new course or through existing content libraries\nIdentify external learning resources, such as online courses, to supplement internal content offerings.\nContent Loading and Management\nUpload and organize training materials, courses, and resources within the LMS.\nManage re-enrollments and compliance courses based on the annual training schedule\nEnsure the content is tagged, categorized, and easily searchable for employees.\nRegularly update and maintain content to reflect the most current information and training requirements.\nUser Support and Training\nOffer guidance and support to employees, managers and stakeholders on LMS usage and training content.\nAddress user inquiries and troubleshoot issues related to the LMS and training materials.\nPosition is located at the Corporate office in Columbus, Ohio working 5 days a week in the office.\nRequirements\nMinimum Education Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, or related field. 4 to 6 years experience in managing a Learning Management System.\nSkills and Abilities:\nStrong instructional design and content development skills\nFamiliarity with eLearning authoring tools and multimedia content creation\nExcellent project management and organizational skills\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work independently and self-motivated\nBenefits\nM/I Homes offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off and paid holidays, paid parental leave, traditional and Roth 401(k) options, profit sharing plan, employee home purchase plan and more.\nWe are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining talent that reflects the customers we serve and the communities where we live and work.\nWe are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
