The existing survey role emphasizes a combination of field and office experience.\nWhat You'll Do:\nAssist survey crews with fieldwork and data collection.\nSupport survey layout, measurements, and field documentation.\nAssist with researching deeds, plats, maps, physical monuments, and public records.\nLearn to use survey equipment and technology used for field data collection.\nAssist with establishing and reestablishing survey control.\nMaintain accurate field notes and project documentation.\nSupport Surveyors, Survey Technicians, and project teams with daily project needs.\nTravel to local project sites as needed.\nFollow established safety and quality procedures while working in the field.\nWhat You Need to Succeed:\nInterest in developing a career in land surveying, engineering, or geospatial services.\nComfortable working outdoors and in varying field conditions.\nBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.\nStrong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.\nWillingness to learn survey equipment, software, and field procedures.\nCompensation:\nThe approximate compensation range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
