This role combines technical leadership, strategic initiative development, project delivery and asset management, client engagement, and business development.\nFlexible Work Environment: This position offers remote work flexibility, subject to business needs and the requirements of the role.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nServe as a technical leader within the Bridge Technology team, supporting the development and implementation of innovative solutions across the Bridge Practice, with leadership responsibility for bridge inspection and asset management initiatives.\n\nProvide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for Bridge Technology initiatives, including inspection modernization, asset management, digital delivery, digital twins, data analytics, software solutions, artificial intelligence, digital twins, and other emerging technologies.\n\nCollaborate with clients, project teams, and technology leaders to identify opportunities to improve project delivery, digital twins, infrastructure management, and business processes through technology-enabled solutions.\n\nLead the delivery of Bridge Technology solutions on strategic bridge projects and initiatives, providing technical expertise and hands-on implementation where those solutions deliver value to clients.\n\nDesign, architect, build, and deploy software tools, automated workflows, and applied-AI solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making throughout the infrastructure asset lifecycle.\n\nSupport business development, strategic pursuits, and client engagement activities while helping shape the future direction of Bridge Technology services.\n\nGrow Bridge Technology capabilities, including building and leading a team of developers and technologists as demand grows, through mentoring, training, and knowledge sharing across regional and national teams.\n\nWhat You Need to Succeed:\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.\n\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain through reciprocity.\n\n10+ years of experience in bridge engineering, bridge inspection, transportation asset management, or related infrastructure services.\n\nExperience leading technical projects and working with transportation agencies, bridge owners, or infrastructure stakeholders.\n\nStrong understanding of bridge inspection programs, bridge asset management principles, and transportation infrastructure systems.\n\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nInterest in advancing technology-driven solutions and innovation within the transportation industry.\n\nPreferred\nNHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges certification or equivalent bridge inspection credentials.\n\nExperience with bridge management systems, asset management platforms, inspection technologies, or transportation data systems.\n\nExperience supporting State DOT bridge inspection or asset management programs.\n\nFamiliarity with emerging technologies such as reality capture, unmanned aerial systems (UAS), digital twins, artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, BIM, or digital delivery.\n\nParticipation in AASHTO, TRB, FHWA, or other industry committees and professional organizations.\n\nExperience supporting technology implementation, organizational change management, or enterprise-scale infrastructure initiatives.\n\nCompensation:\nThe approximate compensation range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per year. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
