This role combines transportation planning and technical analysis with project management, client coordination, and community engagement.\nYou will collaborate with planners, engineers, GIS specialists, environmental professionals, and public-sector clients to develop practical transportation solutions and help move projects from planning through implementation.\nWhat You'll Do:\nManage and support transportation planning, traffic, corridor, safety, and multimodal projects.\nManage project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and multidisciplinary teams.\nConduct and oversee traffic operations, safety, capacity, and transportation planning analyses.\nDevelop traffic forecasts and evaluate existing and future transportation conditions.\nEvaluate roadway, intersection, bicycle, pedestrian, transit, and multimodal improvements.\nSupport corridor studies, transportation safety plans, feasibility studies, and long-range planning efforts.\nAnalyze traffic, crash, land-use, demographic, and transportation data to develop recommendations.\nPrepare technical reports, planning documents, presentations, maps, and exhibits.\nLead and support client meetings, public meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.\nCoordinate with DOTs, municipalities, MPOs, regional agencies, and other public-sector partners.\nSupport proposals, scopes, fee estimates, grant opportunities, and business development efforts.\nWhat You Need to Succeed:\nBachelor’s degree in Planning, Civil/Transportation Engineering, Geography, Public Administration, or a related field.\n10+ years of experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, project management, or a related field.\nExperience with corridor, traffic, safety, multimodal, and transportation planning projects.\nAbility to manage project schedules, budgets, priorities, and deliverables.\nExperience working with DOTs, municipalities, MPOs, regional agencies, or other public-sector clients.\nStrong technical writing, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.\nAICP or PE licensure preferred, but not required.\nCompensation:\nThe approximate compensation range for this position is $145,000 - $165,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
