Reporting to the Site Manager you will be responsible for managing the operations management within the Warehouse & Transport functions at your Site, through a team of Shift Managers.\nYou will be accountable for implementing the Companies’ Standard Operational Policies, Procedures and Practices including Health and Safety. Long Service Recognition, Enhance Maternity and Paternity, Cycle to Work, Charity Match.\n\nAbout the role:\nCreating daily, weekly and monthly plans\n\nDrive efficiencies, whilst improving service levels\n\nRegularly monitor operation budgets and delivery of routine KPI targets\n\nMonitoring and control of stock and its’ accuracy\n\nMaintain accurate records to support internal and external audits\n\nEnsure a proactive approach to excellent Customer Service is delivered\n\nMotivate and encourage team members creating a positive working environment\n\nStrive to provide a culture where people feel trusted, valued, safe and challenged.\n\nHold team briefings keeping everyone informed on important information and changes.\n\nChair and support in employee relations meetings as required, including Return to Work Interviews, Investigations, Attendance Review Meetings, Disciplinaries and Grievances\n\nReview employee performance and wellbeing through check in meetings and appraisals\n\nIdentify training needs/ knowledge gaps to ensure there is clear path for development\n\nAbout you:\nPrevious experience in a logistical management role\n\nExperience of managing and developing a team with demonstrable leaderships skills\n\nPrevious experience of cost and budget management along with Health & Safety management in a similar environment\n\nChange Management is also required.\n\nIOSH qualification is an advantage but not essential, however a good working knowledge of Health and Safety in Warehouses is essential.\n\nAbout our company:\nMicheldever Tyre Services (MTS) was founded in 1972 as a part-time venture providing car servicing and tyres.
