Work special events, when needed.\nHelp plan and execute the volunteer recognition and appreciation functions.\nAssist with the development, revision and distribution of the Volunteer Manual. \nQualifications:\nHigh School diploma and 1/3 months of related experience is required with some college-level coursework or a college degree preferred.\nMicrosoft Office proficiency and intermediate computer skills are required.\nAbility to set priorities, take initiative, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.\nPrior experience in volunteer management and/or training preferred.\nStrong communication and presentation skills, comfortable coaching individuals as well as speaking to large groups.\nJoin our team at Michigan Humane and make a positive impact, grow your skills and career, and be part of a compassionate and dedicated organization.
