Plans and prioritizes operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. Determines manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:\nReviews Master Scheduling, including the Master Production Plan, Materials Plan, and Capacity Plan to provide materials ATP to customers.\nForecasting sales and entering data into ERP System related to the anticipated demand.\nPrepares production schedules for business unit or organization.\nCheck for missing materials and follow/up with purchasing and operations.\nDraws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.\nArranges orders into a sequential work schedule.\nExamines production specifications and capacity data, and performs mathematical calculations to determine production processes, tools, and human resource requirements.\nTranslates orders into a sequential work schedule.\nAnalyzes production specifications and capacity data, and performs mathematical calculations to determine production processes, tools, and human resource requirements.\nPlans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established production sequences and lead times.\nPlans sequence of operations.\nAbility to remain on time and recognize project urgency.\nConfers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.\nExpedites operations that delay schedules, and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.\nPrepares production reports.\nMay prepare lists and purchase orders to obtain required materials, tools, and equipment.\nPerforms other duties, as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration and percent.\nREASONING ABILITY\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety if instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.
