This is a good fit if you work as a photo editor, picture editor, visual editor or retoucher and make decisions about which images to use and how to correct them.\nScope of Work\nLook at sets of images and pick the strongest one for a given purpose.\n\nJudge technical quality: exposure, focus, color, noise and cropping.\n\nMark images that were altered in a way that changes what they show.\n\nCheck that captions and descriptions match what the image actually shows.\n\nWrite a short explanation for each decision so a reviewer can follow your reasoning.\n\nCorrect or retouch images following a brief.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nProfessional work as a photo editor, picture editor, visual editor, retoucher or photo producer.\n\nDaily use of professional tools such as Lightroom, Photoshop or Capture One. \n\nExperience delivering images to a real audience: print, web, social, broadcast or brand work.\n\nComfort explaining why one image works and another doesn’t.\n\nClear written English.\n\nHow the selection process works\nApply with your resume and a short profile.\n\nComplete the editing interview. It is a short conversation about your experience with image selection and editing. You don’t need to prepare, look at anything or write anything.
