This client-facing role works with sales teams, technical resources, and strategic partners to turn client requirements into accurate, executable Statements of Work (SOWs) and services quotes.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead client discovery and sales engagements to gather business and technical requirements, define scope, identify risks, and determine the optimal delivery approach using internal, partner, or blended resources. \nDevelop, review, and manage client-facing SOWs, proposals, and quotes while ensuring scope accuracy, pricing integrity, margin protection, and compliance with internal approval processes. \nServe as the primary Services pre-sales resource by coordinating account executives, technical teams, and other stakeholders through solution development, client presentations, negotiations, and opportunity progression.\nBuild and manage strategic partner relationships by coordinating partner participation, evaluating estimates and SOWs, aligning commercial terms, and ensuring successful engagement execution. \nCoordinate service order processing, partner procurement, invoicing requirements, and the complete handoff of approved engagements to PMO, delivery, finance, and partner teams. \nMaintain accurate opportunity and engagement documentation, improve repeatable services processes, monitor approvals and dependencies, and ensure compliance with confidentiality and document-control requirements.\nWhat This Role Is Not\nThis is not a quota-carrying sales or project management role, although it directly supports services revenue, opportunity progression, and a complete handoff to delivery teams. \nThis role coordinates technical and delivery resources but does not serve as the final technical authority; appropriate technical resources will review and validate proposed solutions before the SOW or solution is finalized.\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in an IT services pre-sales, sales engineering, technical consulting, services coordination, or a related client-facing services role.\nDemonstrated ability to lead discovery, define service scope, develop SOWs and proposals, evaluate pricing and delivery models, and support successful services engagements. \nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills with experience collaborating across sales, engineering, clients, and strategic partners. \nProficiency with Microsoft 365 and business applications, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities, assess risks, and produce accurate client-ready documentation in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working within IT services, managed services, consulting, or technology solutions organization with an understanding of the services engagement lifecycle.\nExperience coordinating strategic partners, developing services proposals and SOWs, and utilizing CRM, quoting, and services management platforms to support forecasting, order processing, and operational execution.\nWhy MicroAge\nMicroAge helps organizations modernize, secure, and simplify IT operations through consulting, managed services, staffing, and technology solutions.
