We're looking for a Telecom Systems Software Engineer to join our RAN team and play a key role in developing and maintaining the L1/L2/L3 protocol stack and enabling multi-platform support (x86 and ARM).\nYour Role:\nAs a Telecom Systems Software Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the software stack of our 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) solutions. This includes implementing new features across L1/L2/L3, optimizing the system for new architectures (ARM), and integrating licensing mechanisms. You’ll work with a multi-disciplinary team on real-time telecom solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain 5G RAN software stack (L1/L2/L3 layers).\n\nPort and optimize the codebase for ARM architecture (currently runs on x86).\n\nIntegrate software licensing mechanisms into the existing RAN stack.\n\nWork closely with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration between RU, DU, CU, and Core components.\n\nSupport time synchronization technologies (PTP/SyncE) for real-time radio operation.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues in live and test environments.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including interface specs and system configs.\n\nCollaborate with QA to create automated test scenarios (Python, Bash).\n\nProvide guidance on software and hardware requirements for RAN deployment.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.\n\n2+ years of experience in embedded or telecom systems software development.\n\nSolid knowledge of 4G/5G RAN architecture and protocol layers (MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC).\n\nStrong Linux development skills.\n\nProficiency in C/C++ and Python.\n\nFamiliarity with Git and CI/CD tools.\n\nUnderstanding of system performance tuning and resource management.\n\nExperience with ARM and x86-based platforms.\n\nGood command of English (spoken and written)\n\nGood to have\nExperience with O-RAN interfaces and specifications.\n\nKnowledge of time synchronization protocols (PTP, SyncE).\n\nFamiliarity with FPGA or SDR-based systems (Verilog/VHDL a plus).\n\nExperience with software licensing systems or commercial protection frameworks.\n\nJob benefits\nSalary: 10,000 -
