Reporting to the HR Business Partner Manager at our corporate office in Chandler, Arizona, this role will also support corporate HR initiatives and projects. The position provides onsite support in Colorado Springs, with hybrid options potentially available, and is best suited for candidates with 2 or more years of direct experience in Human Resources and staffing or recruiting.\nIn this role, you will build trusted relationships with assigned Business Unit leaders and employees, provide practical HR guidance and solutions, and help advance business goals while strengthening Microchip’s culture and values. At Microchip, employees are our greatest strength.\nResponsibilities:\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with assigned Business Unit leaders and employees while providing HR guidance, support, and solutions aligned with business needs.\nAdvise managers and employees on the interpretation and consistent application of company policies, procedures, and HR best practices.\nSupport staffing activities, including creating requisitions, posting positions, coordinating and conducting interviews, extending and negotiating offers, and onboarding new hires.\nMaintain accurate staffing and employee records to support reporting requirements and OFCCP compliance.\nProcess employee terminations in accordance with established policies and procedures.\nConduct employee exit interviews, document feedback, and identify relevant themes for HR and business leaders.\nHandle employee and business information with a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.\nComplete additional HR projects and duties as assigned.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field with 2 or more years of direct experience in Human Resources and staffing or recruiting.\nQualified candidates should also demonstrate a strong work ethic, commitment to quality and continuous improvement, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, effective listening and written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills, attention to detail, organization, relationship building, and the ability to work with minimal direction while balancing multiple tasks and projects.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPHR or SPHR certification.\nExperience with Workday HRIS.\nPrior Human Resources experience in a technical or semiconductor environment.\nMaster’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.\nThis position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.Travel Time:\n0% - 25%Physical Attributes:\nHearing, Seeing, TalkingPhysical Requirements:\n80% sitting, 10% walking, 10% standingPay Range:\nWe offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
