The HRBP will provide ongoing support to business leaders and employees while working to advance business goals and strengthen the culture and values at Microchip Technology. This is an on-site position and requires working in the office five days per week.\nAt Microchip employees are our greatest strength!\nResponsibilities:\nEffectively manage day-to-day HR activities and administrative responsibilities, ensuring timely and accurate execution of HR processes and documentation\n\nPartner closely with leaders to understand business goals and deliver HR solutions that support both people and performance\n\nProvide guidance, coaching, and HR support across assigned teams\n\nSupport full-cycle recruiting activities, including creating and posting requisitions, sourcing and interviewing candidates, extending and negotiating offers, onboarding new hires, process I-9/EVerify, and maintaining accurate documentation to support reporting requirements and OFCCP compliance\n\nManage employee relations matters, including conducting fair, thorough, and confidential investigations\n\nSupport and process terminations and conduct employee exit interviews\n\nSupport immigration-related processes and employee support\n\nSupport Affirmative Action compliance efforts and participate in community outreach initiatives\n\nSupport benefit open enrollment and wellness initiatives as well as answer questions regarding benefits, qualifying life events, and leave of absence\n\nMaintain accurate and compliant HR records across personnel files and HRIS systems\n\nPerform other duties and projects as assigned\n\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field with 2+ years of prior experience as an HR Business Partner\n\nStrong working knowledge of performance management processes\n\nExperience with U.S. immigration processes\n\nExperience with HRIS and ATS platforms, such as Workday\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)\n\nHandle sensitive matters with professionalism and good judgment\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills\n\nCommitment to confidentiality and ethical HR practices\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-moving environment and adapt to changing priorities\n\nEffective listening and communication skills (written and verbal)\n\nAbility to work with minimal direction and supervision, and drive tasks and projects to completion\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProven experience supporting technical or engineering teams, ideally within the semiconductor industry\n\nProfessional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)\n\nExperience with Workday and Workday Recruitment\n\nExperience supporting Affirmative Action initiatives\n\nThis position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.\nThis position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.Travel Time:\n0% - 25%Physical Attributes:\nBending at Waist, Carrying, Feeling, Handling, Hearing, Kneeling, Lifting, Reaching, Seeing, Stooping, Talking, Works Around OthersPhysical Requirements:\n10% Standing, 10% Walking, 80% Sitting, 100% Inside-MF 8-5PMMicrochip Technology Incis an equal opportunity/affirmativeaction employer.
