If you have a quality mindset, outstanding teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn, we invite you to come join our family and grow your career within an industry-leading manufacturer of high-precision timing devices.\nWe are fully invested in our employees and will provide you with the tools, resources, and support you need to be successful.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nMonitor different requirements on a wide range of material and parts and ensure that incoming materials and parts meet those requirements.\nReview drawings and requirements for incoming material and production units.\nReview Certificates of Conformance (COC) to ensure material matches what we were supposed to receive.\nOperate X-Ray Fluorescence Machine to conduct incoming inspections.\nMonitor incoming parts that require inspection prior to moving to stock.\nOperate small oven when required to do Capacitor De-Aging.\nWrite up returned material authorizations (RMAs) for material returned to Microchip.\nInitiate non-conforming material reports (NCMR) for incoming material not meeting specifications.\nMaintain our document and part retention when required.\nMaintain Incoming Inspection Log.\nWork with Quality and Production to make sure incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished goods are inspected efficiently and correctly.\nKeep work area clean, organized, and safe.\nFollow all company safety and quality policies.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nExperience / Education:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nNo prior inspection or manufacturing experience required; relevant experience or training is a plus.\nRequirements / Qualifications:\nBasic mechanical or machine operation aptitude; comfortable learning to work with tools, equipment, and/or machinery.\nAbility to learn and understand technical processes and follow detailed work instructions.\nStrong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.\nBasic computer skills and willingness to learn computer-based systems.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nReliable attendance and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.\nWillingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet production demands.\nSchedule:\nM-F, 3:30pm-12am (2nd shift) - Candidate would be expected to undergo training on first shift for about 8 weeks before moving to afternoons. \nBenefits:\nTo reflect and honor how essential our team is, they have access to all the following benefits:\n2 weeks of Vacation AND 2 weeks of Personal (Waiting period may apply)\n10 Paid Holidays\nQuarterly Bonuses\nRestricted Stock Units & Employee Stock Purchase Plans\nMedical, Dental, Vision, and Legal Benefits on Day 1\n401k & Company Match\nTuition Reimbursement\nOnsite Fitness Room\nU.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States.
