Microchip’s Data Center Solutions Business Unit (DCS) offers industry-leading performance, reliability, and security for Smart Storage Controllers, RAID Controllers, SAS/SATA IO Controllers, SAS Expanders, PCIe Switches, and NVME Controllers.\nAs an ASIC development engineer in the Microchip Data Center Solutions group, you will get hands-on experience developing our next generation of storage and memory controller SOC products. If this sounds like the kind of environment you'd like to participate in, we'd like to hear from you!\nJob Responsibilities:\nJob responsibilities may include any of the following:\nPre-silicon design and verification\n\nEmulation and debug of the IP and solution\n\nPost-silicon integration, bring-up, and validation\n\nLearning and dynamically applying knowledge of the SoC, protocols and standards\n\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering\n\n2+ years of relevant industry experience or a Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering\n\nStrong programming/scripting skills, i.e., C++, Python\n\nExcellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and documentation skills\n\nExcellent problem solving and debugging skills\n\nExperience with Verilog and/or VHDL is an asset\n\nExperience with the ASIC design and/or verification flow is an asset\n\nExperience with PCIe protocols is an asset\n\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%Pay Range:\nWe offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
