Positioned at the intersection of pricing, analytics, systems, process, and commercial execution, CMT helps Microchip win and retain business profitably by bringing consistency, speed, insight, and sound business judgment to critical decisions.\nThis role applies value-based pricing, market insight, data, and Microchip tools to improve quote quality, conversion, profitability, decision speed, and ease of doing business. The team is modernizing how Microchip approaches pricing, quoting, analytics, systems, and commercial execution, and is seeking high-caliber talent ready to help lead that transformation.\nKey Responsibilities\nQuote to Win: Recommend competitive, value-based pricing that balances profitable growth, customer value, commercial judgment, and speed.\nPricing and Market Analysis: Use customer, product, cost, quote, backlog, market, and competitive data to improve decisions, quote quality, and organizational responsiveness.\nCross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate globally across Sales, Business Units, Finance, Channel, Distribution, Inside Sales, Global Sales Support, Operations, and CMT to resolve complex opportunities and align stakeholders on the best business outcome.\nProcess, Tools, and Governance: Execute approved workflows, maintain accurate data, apply pricing guardrails, and manage exceptions and escalations with urgency and accountability.\nOperational Excellence: Advance process simplification, automation, training, performance monitoring, and modern tools to reduce friction, improve quote response time, and strengthen customer experience.\nStrategic and AOP Initiatives: Own strategic projects and annual operating plan initiatives from problem identification through execution, delivering measurable improvements in organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency.\nKnowledge and Insight Sharing: Share market, pricing, and business insights; build capability across the organization; and contribute to a high-performing culture of ownership, collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\nDemonstrated experience in pricing, quoting, product marketing, business analysis, sales operations, or a related commercial function.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data and make clear, defensible recommendations.\nExcellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, including the ability to explain pricing decisions and train varied audiences.\nProven ownership and accountability, combining strategic thinking with disciplined and timely execution through measurable completion.\nDemonstrated ability to work across functions, regions, leadership levels, and time zones; manage competing priorities; and remain adaptable in a fast-moving environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and business systems, with the willingness and ability to learn Microchip pricing, quoting, reporting, and automation tools quickly.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in the semiconductor industry, including pricing, distribution, negotiating customer agreements, or product lifecycle management.\nFamiliarity with Microchip products, organizational structure, and quoting processes, including Model N, Compass, Tableau, Quote Companion, or comparable tools.\nMBA or other advanced degree in a relevant discipline is welcome.\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
