Based in\nour Chandler, Arizona Corporate Headquarters, you would be part of the Reliability Engineering team tasked with supporting the development\nof new Microchip products. In addition, you will part of a team that is tasked with shaping and influencing our overall Reliability strategies and\ntechniques. This position is an individual contributor role working in a team of experienced engineering staff who will mentor and support your\ntechnical growth.\nResponsibilities include working with New Product Development teams to create and coordinate Qualification activities and plans to meet scheduled release dates.\nNew team member will learn how to develop and perform die level reliability testing on Microchip devices.\nNew team member will develop skills in qualification techniques for automotive, Commercial and Aero/Defense products.\nLab skills with assorted test/measurement equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, power supply, source meter, function generator,\nnetwork analyzer, etc.) valued, but not required.\nExperience in PCB hardware design and ability to read board schematics and drawings a plus.\nExperience with LabVIEW, MATLAB and other SW programs a plus.\nOperate effectively in a team environment while contributing to the team's success.\nSelf-motivated and one who takes the initiative to help others on the team.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nMust be able to work in a team environment.\nMust adhere to Microchips guiding values.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nEducation & Experience Requirements:\nBS or MS degree in Electrical/Computer or related engineering field \n0-3 years of relevant industry experience.\nGood fundamentals of transistor level integrated circuits and device physics a plus.\nExperience or ability to learn statistical methods and tools (ex: JMP or Mathcad).\nAdditional Requirements & Qualifications:\nLab skills with assorted test/measurement equipment, nice to have.\nExperience with DLT/HTOL burn-in oven a plus but not required.\nSelf-motivated and take ownership of solutions.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nMust adhere to Microchips guiding\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%Physical Attributes:\nHearing, Seeing, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around OthersPhysical Requirements:\n80% sitting, 10% standing, 10% walking, 100% inside.Microchip Technology Incis an equal opportunity/affirmativeaction employer.
