People like you.\nVisit our careers page to see what exciting opportunities and company perks await!\nJob Description:\nWe are seeking an analog validation Engineer II for Microchip’s MCU division to support analog validation and characterization of new microcontrollers.\nYou will be part of the Microcontroller Validation team, based in Nantes (France)\nAs an analog characterization engineer, you will be involved in the characterization of the analog blocks embedded in our new microcontrollers to extract the electrical performances useful for the specification of the product datasheet. You will also contribute to the development of our analog/parametric test infrastructure.\nYou will work with team members located in Nantes (France), Chandler (Arizona), Bangalore (India) and other company team members around the world.\nWhat is attractive about this opportunity?\nParticipate in the development of new microcontrollers.\n\nStrong collaboration (worldwide) with the analog design and integration, application, and product engineering teams\n\nDefinition of the validation plans for analog blocks to be characterized (ADC, DAC, PLL, OPAMP etc...)\n\nSpecify schematic for characterization hardware\n\nEmbedded software Development on new microcontrollers\n\nAutomatic test bench development (NI Labview and TestStand)\n\nDebug new products with design teams to identify root cause issues\n\nAnalysis of measurement results, correlations with design simulations and writing of characterization reports for each IP\n\nElectrical performance specification of the analog blocks for the product datasheet\n\nContribute to the overall improvement of methods, quality, and optimization of the validation processes (flow, tools, test infrastructure).\n\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nRequired Qualifications:\nMSEE/MSCE from an accredited engineering school\n\nNew graduate to 2-3 years of related work experience.\n\nGood knowledge of analog electronics.\n\nSome knowledge on Analog IPs such as ADC, DAC, PLL, analog comparator, crystal oscillator, Opamp etc...\n\nExperience on measurement methods and use of equipment such as oscilloscope, arbitrary waveform generator, multimeter,current and voltage source, etc...\n\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills (Debug)\n\nRigorous, organized, autonomous, motivated, and passionate\n\nEnglish (fluent Write/Read/Listening)\n\n Desired Qualifications:\nMicrocontrollers: digital/analog functions and embedded software development (C-based)\n\nAutomated test bench development: knowledge in Labview, Teststand, Python languages\n\nCollaborative development tools: JIRA, GIT, Confluence\n\nData analysis tools like Excel, JMP …\n\nInterest in working in an international environment (Europe, Asia, USA)\n\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
