People like you.\nVisit our careers page to see what exciting opportunities and company perks await!\nJob Description:\nMicrochip is seeking an entry-level Wireless Systems Applications Engineer to provide customer support and develop sample applications for\nembedded wireless controllers and SoC products.\nDevelop innovative solutions to address design challenges and issues reported by global clients.\nCollaborate with internal engineering teams and fellow applications engineers to implement new features and optimize solutions.\nCreate technical resources, including knowledge base articles, application notes, training presentations, and instructional videos, to educatecustomers and internal teams.\nDesign and develop demo applications and sample projects showcasing real-world use cases of wireless products in embedded systems.\nValidate, test, and release SDKs and software framework packages to ensure high quality and reliability.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Systems Engineering or a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering.\nEmbedded software development experience, including bare-metal and framework-based development\nStrong hands-on experience in C and C++ programming\nSolid understanding of wireless technologies and hands-on experience integrating and debugging protocol stacks, including\nGood knowledge of protocol stacks and the OSI networking model, particularly for wireless systems Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE, and IEEE 802.15.4.\nExperience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or Linux-based systems)\nExperience with 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers and peripherals such as ADC, DAC, PWM, RTC, WDT, and timers/counters\nKnowledge of communication interfaces: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and USB\nExposure to hardware design concepts, including schematics and PCB layout (highly desirable)\nFamiliarity with Microchip microcontrollers/processors, wireless solutions, touch technology, and FPGA documentation is an added advantage\nProficient in using digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol sniffers\nStrong ability to debug complex system-level embedded issues\nExecute reference designs, customer projects, and application notes to drive design-ins and design-wins\nAssist customers in designing, developing, integrating, and troubleshooting embedded applications\nProvide creative solutions and workarounds to resolve customer design and implementation issues\nCollaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve open issues and meet design requirements\nAbility to work effectively in a dynamic, global, and virtual team environment\nDevelop and deliver technical training for customers and field engineers\nExcellent written and spoken English communication skills\nStrong customer support, presentation, and interpersonal skills\nSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask with minimal supervision\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nGood organizational and project management skills, including schedule and status reporting.\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
