The job responsibilities include:\nDevelop collateral such as application notes, data sheets, technical manuals, and other activities for new product development.\nMaintain existing Linux/QNX/VxWorks/Windows drivers, add new features\nDevelop and support applications that interact with PCIe, USB layers\nDevelop demos for trade events\nDevelop and present technical training such as webinars, hands-on workshops, etc. to customers, sales and field application engineers.\nProvide direct technical support to sales and field application engineers as well as key strategic customers.\nWork in a team environment and interact with Design, Product /Test and Marketing teams.\nWork with Marketing and Sales team to identify new applications and market spaces and assist in the definition of new products.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nBasic Requirements:\nBachelors or Masters in electrical engineering or equivalent discipline.\nUnderstanding of electrical system design including mixed signal circuits fundamentals.\nBasic understanding of embedded software/firmware design.\nStrong written communication skills.\nStrong computer skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in presentation of technical information.\nExperience in direct customer service and support.\nExperience in working with communication protocols such as USB, PCIe, Ethernet, etc.\nExperience in basic electrical circuits design.\nFundamental understanding of programming in embedded assembly and C programming languages.\nFundamental understanding of common lab equipment such as function generators, power supplies and oscilloscopes.\nExperience in working with hardware and Microcontroller based designs.\nExperience in trouble shooting hardware and software issues.\nExperience working within Linux operating system distributions.\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
