The role focuses on the design, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support of quartz, atomic frequency oscillators/references, and associated technologies used in commercial, industrial, and military/space applications.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign electronic systems, composing of analog, mixed signal, embedded, and RF/microwave circuits.\nHost and participate in detail-oriented design reviews.\nCollaborate with hardware, software, mechanical, PCB design, and program management teams.\nDevelop requirements, specifications, verification/validation plans, and procedures in accordance with the new product introduction process.\nSupport troubleshooting, failure analysis, compliance, and component obsolescence activities.\nCreate and support change orders per the product lifecycle management system.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nRequired Qualifications:\nU.S. Person status.\nBachelor of Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering.\nMinimum 2.5 years of relevant experience.\nKnowledge of circuit theory, linear systems, digital systems, control loops, schematics, PCB design, simulation tools, and common test lab equipment.\nKnowledge of electronics manufacturing, assembly, and test processes.\nContend with multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, with good organizational skills.\nStrong written and verbal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.\nStrong desire for continuous learning.\nWilling to travel on occasion, for up to 1 week at a time, including international travel.\nWilling to work evenings or weekends on occasion, with flexible accommodations.\nPreferred Skills:\nProficiency in RF/microwave circuits and crystal oscillator designs.\nKnowledge of FPGA and embedded software development.\nKnowledge of engineering and software tools (Python, C, LabView, MATLAB, Ansys, SPICE, VHDL/Verilog).\nExperience using Altium Designer and SolidWorks.\nExperience in ruggedized designs for harsh environments.\nU.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States.
