People like you.\nVisit our careers page to see what exciting opportunities and company perks await!\nJob Description:\nAs an Engineer II - System Validation Design, you will join a team of highly skilled technical professionals validating state-of-the-art System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions that integrate embedded processors, real-time firmware, Linux and Windows drivers, and customer-facing tools. You will contribute to test planning, test development, automation, execution, and debugging in a highly automated validation environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and debug system-level hardware, firmware, drivers, and software used to validate leading-edge integrated circuits in their intended applications.\nDevelop test automation using in-house tools, Java, BeanShell, and shell scripting.\nDevelop, execute, and document test cases that validate SoC solution functionality, including:Basic and advanced features\nPerformance\nError injection and recovery\nMulti-OS support\nInteroperability\nScalability\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues in embedded, multi-core, real-time systems.\nUse logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and other advanced diagnostic tools to isolate failures.\nUse test and defect tracking tools to document validation progress, defects, and product quality.\nCreate and manage system validation test schedules and drive their execution.\nIsolate and resolve complex software and firmware issues in embedded real-time systems.\nClearly present technical findings and recommendations to engineering teams.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nBS in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.\n2.5 - 5 years of relevant work experience.\nExperience with or knowledge of Java and C, plus at least one scripting language such as Python, Linux shell, or BeanShell.\nKnowledge of key components and architectures used in server and storage solutions.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to quickly learn and apply new technologies.\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience working with Linux and Windows environments and file-system structures.\nExperience with RAID HBAs, SAS, or NVMe controllers and associated software validation strategies.\nExperience validating storage protocols such as SAS, SATA, and NVMe.\nExperience with PCIe protocols and infrastructure.\nKnowledge of computer system I/O hierarchies and interconnects.\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%Physical Attributes:\nCarrying, Handling, Hearing, Seeing, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around OthersPhysical Requirements:\nNormal business hours; 70% sitting, 15% standing, 15% walkingPay Range:\nWe offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
