People like you.\nVisit our careers page to see what exciting opportunities and company perks await!\nJob Description:\nAs a Verification Engineer in the Secure Computing Products (SCG) Group at Microchip, the individual will be part of a larger digital logic design effort responsible for designing state-of-the-art hardware embedded controller solutions. This position requires someone who is comfortable with all aspects of Digital design development and is flexible enough to adapt to constantly evolving requirements. Must have good communication and organizational skills and work with multiple functional groups to create integrated solutions to satisfy embedded controller needs of various industries.\nJob Responsibilities:\nOwn the verification of complex blocks and subsystems within ARM-based SoCs.\nAble to perform digital design verification at the Block level, Chip level Functional verification.\nDefine test plans from design specifications, implement constrained-random and directed tests, and drive coverage closure.\nDevelopment of test environments using System Verilog and UVM verification methodologies.\nIntegration with RTL and basic simulation bring-up for the design.\nCreate multiple test cases as per test plan and launch regressions.\nGenerate Code/Functional coverage, analyze coverage results and correlate with the test plan.\nDebug RTL and testbench issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with design teams to resolve bugs.\nContribute to AI/automation initiatives for regression management, coverage tracking, and debug automation.\nWork with architects and validation engineers to ensure end-to-end feature completeness and quality.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as required.\nContinuously improve verification methodology, reuse, and efficiency.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nKey Qualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fieldwith 2-4 years of experience in ASIC/SoC functional verification.\nStrong expertise in System Verilog and UVM methodology.\nHands-on experience in developing block/subsystem/SoC-level verification environments.\nSolid understanding of AMBA,USB,I2C,SPI and eSPI protocols.\nGood understanding of Digital Design, RTL fundamentals, and simulation/debug flows.\nFamiliarity with scripting (Python/TCL/Perl) for automation.\nGood programming skills with languages such as C, C++.\nExperience working with Cadence, Synopsys or Mentor verification platforms is an asset.\nExposure to AI/ML-based verification, emulation, or acceleration is a plus.\nExcellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving abilities, strong analytical and debugging skills.\nHighly motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality results.\nAbility to lead cross-site teams and manage complex design programs.\nWhat We Offer\nOpportunity to work on cutting-edge semiconductor and SoC technologies.\nSkill development through structured training and hands-on project work.\nInclusive, collaborative environment fostering innovation and growth.\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
