People like you.\nVisit our careers page to see what exciting opportunities and company perks await!\nJob Description:\nThis position plays a key role in providing both strategic and tactical human resources support to develop and coordinate programs that directly support the achievement of business objectives. This position manages day-to-day Human Resource functions at the Bangalore site including compensation administration, employee benefits & programs, employee relations, HRIS system administration, and performance management.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nEnsure benefit processes (forms, documents, Intranet) are up to date, user friendly, accurate, informative and compliant with applicable regulations.\n\nEnrollment process and tracking of employee benefit transactions, including joiners terminations. Promotions, transfers, leave records etc.\n\nManaging the payroll process\nSupport the management of employee data in HRIS and employee personal files.\n\nConduct on-boarding, new hire orientation and provide employee training on benefits and equity programs as required.\n\nPreparing various reports as required\nHandling on-boarding and exit formalities.\n\nPartnering with all business units to maintain strong employee relations and employee engagement.\n\nSupport the performance management process.\n\nManage the employee intranet/portal for updated information and communication of HR programs.\n\nUndertake timely market research of pay practices, compilation and submission of data for salary surveys as required.\n\nUpdate employee handbook and policies as requested\n\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline.\n\nAt least 8 to 12 years of experience working as an HR Generalist/Business Partner. Excellent multi-tasking abilities and detailed oriented, as well as strong interpersonal skills.\n\nEffective communication skills - written, verbal, and presentations.\n\nAdvanced computer skills; proficient in MS Office applications with a high level of expertise in Excel,\n\nGood Knowledge of HRIS System Workday is preferable.\n\nAbility to work independently, and successfully handle complex employee relations issues.\n\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
