The role focuses on customer engagement, opportunity support, and day-to-day sales operations to help drive revenue growth and ensure timely, high-quality customer support.\nThe position works closely with field sales teams, application engineering, and channel partners to support customer requirements, and maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.\nDeep understanding of client’s WW demand both direct and through subcontractors, regularly analyze and anticipate future trends\nMaintain open backlog to avoid customers supply issues\nExport compliances\nWork in team with Client Engagement Managers to become knowledgeable of client’s end market, competitive situation, and growth drivers to co-create the best possible alignment between client’s needs and Microchip capabilities. This will include setting the right expectations regarding process improvements, logistic services, or any other requirements.\nBe the main interface for the development and maintenance of logistic programs\nLoad new orders and action amendments to meet customers’ requirements. Be the customer/factory liaison- dealing with progress enquiries\nKeep close contact with the customer’s purchasing office to meet and exceed service level expectations\nOverview EDI transactions and check that order entries and change orders are successfully supported\nKeep closely in contact with other Microchip offices ww to ensure efficient communication and successful teamwork\nRun, review, and distribute periodic reports as requested\nKeep Customer Database updated\nOrder samples as required to support future opportunities\nSupport Accounts Receivable in Ireland when necessary to resolve overdue payment issues\nOther duties as assigned\nAssistance related to sales office administration, planning and arranging events etc.,\nDemonstrate and adhere to the Microchip values.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nDegree holder with atleast 3 yrs experience in sales support\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nFluent in English is mandatory, both written and spoken\nExcellent organization skills\nMust be service oriented\nAbility and willingness to work in a dynamic international environment, to interact and communicate with different cultures\nAbility to work proactively, anticipating and resolving customer issues\nDetailed oriented and precise\nSound business sense and ability to judge when to escalate by formulating a business case for Business Unit or Sales Management evaluation\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
