This role manages supply and demand planning activities, coordinates with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability, on-time order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and efficient execution of production plans.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduction Planning & Order Management\nReview and analyze Material Requirements Planning (MRP) outputs to ensure adequate supply and production readiness.\nManage and coordinate purchase orders and production orders with Contract Manufacturers (CMs).\nMonitor order status and ensure timely execution and delivery to meet customer commitments.\nSupport demand changes including expedite, pull-in, push-out, upside, and recovery requirements.\nConsign Inventory & Material Management\nAssist in consign inventory reconciliation activities and investigate inventory discrepancies.\nEnsure accurate and timely goods receipt transactions into the warehouse.\nRMA, Rework & Conversion Management\nCoordinate RMA processes with internal teams and Contract Manufacturers.\nManage rework, conversion, and disposition activities to support customer and operational requirements.\nTrack and ensure timely closure of RMA and rework activities.\nFinished Goods Management\nSupport finished goods planning and inventory management activities.\nCoordinate shipment readiness and inventory availability to meet customer delivery schedules.\nSystem & Reporting\nPerform system transactions accurately and timely within ERP systems.\nMaintain planning parameters, order records, and transactional data integrity.\nGenerate and distribute weekly operational and planning reports.\nAnalyze planning and operational data to support decision-making.\nCross-Functional Support\nWork closely with internal stakeholders and Contract Manufacturers to resolve supply chain and production issues.\nSupport special customer requests and urgent business requirements.\nParticipate in process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement projects.\nPerform other duties, projects, and assignments as required by management.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience\n2-3 years of experience in Production Planning, Material Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, or a related function.\nExperience working with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) is preferred.\nExperience using ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood understanding of MRP, production planning, and inventory management concepts.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.\nTeam player with strong collaboration skills.\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
