People like you.\nVisit our careers page to see what exciting opportunities and company perks await!\nJob Description:\nThe Mixed Signal Development Group is responsible for delivering analog and Mixed-Signal IPs to product divisions within Microchip. We work with leading edge CMOS processes to produce analog integrated circuits for wireline applications. We enable technology that allows Microchip’s products to interface to the outside world.\nAs a member of the Mixed-Signal Development Group, the candidate will be engaged in the mixed-signal IP support and debug of PLLs, high speed SERDES, ADCs, DACs, and other analog building blocks.\nResponsibilities:\nDefine the requirements for Mixed-Signal IPs in discussion with the SoC architects\n\nCollaborate with IP vendors to customize IP solutions and finalize Statement of Work (SOW)\n\nManage IP intake processes, including pre-licensing and post-acquisition QA, integration, and sign-off reviews\n\nSupport Mixed-Signal IP through post-tape out phase, including lab testing, customer bring-up and debug\n\nActive involvement in lab testing, support and debug of mixed-signal and SERDES blocks\n\nOwnership of circuit and system specifications\n\nDesign CMOS analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits\n\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with strong analog/mixed-signal background and at least 10 years of mixed-signal CMOS circuit design experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 7.5 years of such experience.\n\nDeep understanding of the mixed-signal analog design flow steps including architecture, design, and integration\n\nExperience with high-speed SERDES and/or PLL circuits\n\nExperience with circuit simulators (HSPICE, Spectre, etc.)\n\nExperience working with PCIe, SAS, SATA and Ethernet protocols is a plus\n\nExperience working with chiplet technologies is a plus\n\nPossess understanding of device physics and basic ESD/Latch-up concepts\n\nStrong written and oral communication skills\n\nAbility to work in a team environment\n\nInnovative and creative thinker\n\nAbility to quickly ramp on new projects\n\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%Pay Range:\nWe offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
