This is a key position within a growth business unit at Microchip.\nInterface with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve manufacturing issues that are technical (fab, packaging, test) and non-technical (supply chain, system related)\nDrive all aspects of foundry and assembly migrations/qualifications \nBe the key Business Unit representative in Asia to provide real-time support and guidance to various teams in the time zone\nFocus on key customer shortages and drive tactical and strategic improvements to supply chain\nHandle long-term customer change management (PCNs/PPAPs/Qualification Data) as the supply chain evolves\nDrive continuous improvement in product quality, cost and delivery while sustaining existing products\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nB.S. in Engineering or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience and driving skills\nGood written and verbal skills are a must with a focus on attention to detail.\nAbility to communicate to all levels (individual contributor to Director level) and various positions (planning, customer support, R&D Engineering, Corporate Packaging, Foundry Management, etc)\nFlexibility to communicate with different time zones as needed\nTechnical supply chain management experience desired\nSemiconductor packaging technology knowledge required\nGood understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flow\nApplicants with diverse experience in both logistics and technical backgrounds encouraged to apply\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
