You will contribute across the entire product lifecycle - from initial concept development to customer feedback.\nYou will work in a dynamic, international, and collaborative environment, playing a key role in the development of innovative and market-leading SPE (Single Pair Ethernet) products.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and evaluate new concepts for SPE products, including simulation, prototyping, and validation\nCollaborate closely with design teams to transform concepts into robust and scalable solutions\nSupport validation and compliance processes to ensure products meet customer and industry requirements\nCreate, review, and maintain technical documentation and application notes\nProvide technical support to customers and ensure alignment with design recommendations\nDrive high product quality by contributing expertise in signal integrity and EMC throughout the design and validation phases\nPerform analysis, testing, and debugging using internal and external lab equipment\nCollaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex technical topics to stakeholders with varying levels of expertise\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (e.g. Mechatronics, Physics) with 8+ years of relevant experience; Master’s degree preferred\nExperience with Ethernet / SPE technologies (100BASE-T1 / 1000BASE-T1)\nExperience with Ethernet compliance and certification processes\nStrong background in analog and digital circuit design\nExperience in system- and circuit-level simulation and analysis\nHands-on experience with modern measurement equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum/signal/logic analyzer, VNA)\nExperience in signal integrity and EMC testing and debugging\nStrong technical documentation skills (reading and authoring)\nProgramming / scripting skills (Python, C, C++, C#, Java, uPython)\nIndependent, structured, and solution-oriented working style\nFluent in English (business level)\nPreferred Skills:\n\nExperience in the automotive industry\nExperience in the semiconductor industry\nFamiliarity with AI-supported workflows\nRF design and debugging experience\nPCB design experience (Altium)\nFirmware development experience\nSoldering skills\nGerman language skills\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
