People like you.\nVisit our careers page to see what exciting opportunities and company perks await!\nJob Description:\nAbout the role:\nWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Designer Engineer with deep expertise in chip level design to join our dynamic engineering team.\nIn this role, you will be hands-on throughout the entire design process, from initial specification and architecture, through RTL implementation and verification. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and contribute technical leadership, while also supporting project coordination and team collaboration.\nAs a Senior Design Engineer, you will become a strong contributor to a highly skilled Touch Controller Silicon development team.\nKey Responsibilities:\nContribute to specification of IPs and Touch Controller products.\nDesign and Verification of IPs and Touch Controller products.\nSupport project planning and coordination, helping to align design activities across teams to reach overall project goals.\nContribute to design reviews and design documentation.\nComply with and improve development methodology and quality flow.\nWork in a team environment and with cross-functional teams.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nRequired\nBachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.\n5+ years of experience in IC design.\nExtensive experience in chip-level design, including specification, architecture, RTL coding and verification.\nExperience in System Verilog for design and verification.\nExcellent teamwork and communication skills; able to work effectively across teams.\nExcellent problem-solving skills.\nIndividual contributor as well as a team player.\nPreferred (one or several of)\nProgramming skills in languages such as TCL, Python, Perl, C, or C++.\nKnowledge in Unix/Linux based operating systems.\nExperience with Synopsys and/or Cadence CAD Tools.\nTravel Time:\nNo TravelTo all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
