These products focus on 32-bit mixed signal microcontrollers and microcontrollers with integrated wireless radios.\nJob activities:\nImplement all aspects of physical design such as floor planning, placement optimization, clock tree synthesis, routing, crosstalk avoidance, EMIR, and physical verification.\n\nWork on place and route methodologies and low power methodologies.\n\nCollaboration with multiple teams across a geographically diverse company to achieve desired design goals.\n\nDetailed job functions include:\nTiming closure support to maximize process node capability.\n\nClock tree setup/debug and synthesis for optimal QoR.\n\nGeneral physical implementation procedures.\n\nMulti-voltage island-based floorplan design and support.\n\nFlow development and automation implementation.\n\nDelivering Physical Verification-clean designs.\n\nDie size estimation and Bond out approval.\n\nInterfacing with external vendors and IP sources to resolve problems.\n\nWorking with members from international design/implementation teams.\n\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nThe successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering and a strong engineering background.\n5+ years of relevant physical design experience\n\nStrong understanding of VLSI and related concepts\n\nUnderstand logic synthesis and timing concepts (setup, hold, uncertainty, etc)\n\nScripting skills in any programming language (TCL and Pyton preferred)\n\nBasic design knowledge of RTL (VHDL/VERILOG) coding\n\nAble to work independently under local project lead/supervisor mentorship\n\nExcellent debugging and analytical skills\n\nGood verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills\n\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%Physical Attributes:\nHearing, Seeing, TalkingPhysical Requirements:\n80% sitting, 10% walking, 10% standingPay Range:\nWe offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
