You will join the Mixed Signal and Linear Division Analog Product Engineering team and collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines within the New Product Development to validate, characterize, qualify, and release new devices into production.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop characterization and qualification strategies for new designs in partnership with the New Product Development team.\n\nHelp design, build, and debug test setups for final test, validation, characterization, and qualification of new products.\n\nInterface with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve manufacturing issues that are technical (fab, test, design related) and non-technical (supply chain, system related).\n\nCreate qualification and reliability plans to ensure product robustness and long-term performance. Drive continuous improvement in product quality and cost while sustaining existing products.\n\nSupport failure analysis and customer returns by working with Applications, Design and Quality Engineering teams.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce costs on released products.\n\nMonitor product line profitability and collaborate with subcontractors and factories to resolve manufacturing or yield issues.\n\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with 5-7.5 years of industry experience.\n\nSolid understanding of analog circuit fundamentals and the IC development lifecycle from concept through manufacturing.\n\nStrong analytical, project leadership, and interpersonal skills.\n\nExcellent written and verbal English communication.\n\nHands-on experience with bench laboratory equipment.\n\nFamiliarity with semiconductor device physics and processing.\n\nAbility to read and evaluate design specifications and datasheets.\n\nPreferred Skills:\nArchitectural knowledge of op amps, amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, and temperature sensors.\n\nExperience with LabVIEW, MATLAB, PCB layout, Confluence, Jira, and MS Project.\n\nATE Test Development Knowledge\n\nKnowledge of 6-sigma programs, 8D process, FMEA, SPC and formal problem-solving skills\n\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
