People like you.\nVisit our careers page to see what exciting opportunities and company perks await!\nJob Description:\nDevelop comprehensive test plans and execute end to end Validation according to product datasheets and specifications.\nDesign and establish test environments by defining hardware and software requirements, selecting appropriate lab equipment, and supporting test board bring-up and validation activities.\nPerform post-silicon validation activities, including test development and execution, data collection, analysis, and comprehensive documentation of results.\nDebug issues observed during validation and assist in replicating customer-reported problems in the lab.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (design, firmware, applications) to ensure product quality and timely issue resolution.\nDesired Skills & Knowledge:\nFamiliarity with one or more of the following protocols: USB (USB 2.0/3.0), USB Power Delivery, Ethernet (10/100/1G/10G/25G), and basic TSN concepts.\nStrong knowledge in pre-silicon validation using FPGA emulation platforms.\nHands-on experience in hardware development, including schematic Design, PCB layout understanding and PCB bring-up.\nWorking knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or TCL/TK for automation.\nBasic knowledge of programming languages (C/C++)\nStrong knowledge of microcontrollers and microprocessor architectures.\nKnowledge of interface protocols such as SPI/SQI, I2C, UART, and JTAG.\nHands-on debugging and troubleshooting skills.\nAdditional Requirements:\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nHands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, Signal generators and traffic generators.\nPractical knowledge of Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI).\nAbility to work independently with minimal guidance and collaborate effectively within a team.\nStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\n5-7 years of relevant industry experience in validation, testing and hardware development.\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field.\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
