In this role, you will closely work with other senior engineers to define, design, develop, and verify innovative analog circuits and systems. To be successful in this position, a deep technical foundation is required. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional engineer to grow their skills and contribute to impactful projects.\nJoin us, and you’ll help us design a variety of cost-effective mixed-signal devices for computing, security-sensitive, and automotive markets.\nDesign and development a wide variety of full custom analog circuits, including amplifiers, simple ADCs, References, IOs, Oscillators and power management systems.\nPerform detailed circuit simulations and analysis using industry-standard tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Cadence Spectre).\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design specifications and deadlines are met.\nParticipate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.\nCollaborate, guide, and review layout implementations to ensure performance, matching, and reliability requirements are met.\nCollaborate with digital design, verification, and test engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration\nSupport the testing and validation of prototypes, including troubleshooting and debugging.\nDocument design processes, simulation results, and technical specifications.\nStay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve design practices.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.\nBachelor’s in any one of the following disciplines - Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, field is preferred.\nMaster’s in any one of the following disciplines - Applied Electronics, VLSI Design, Communication\nMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in analog IC design.\nFundamental understanding of semiconductor device physics.\nStrong understanding of analog circuit design principles and methodologies.\nProficiency in using industry-standard EDA tools for analog and mixed circuit design, simulation, and layout (e.g. Cadence Virtuoso)\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nAbility to learn and operate some Microchip specific internal software tools.\nAbility to mentor and guide junior engineers.\nEagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with modern process nodes (e.g., 55nm, 22nm).\nKnowledge of mixed-signal design and verification methodologies.\nFamiliarity with layout techniques for matching, noise isolation, and parasitic management.\nKnowledge of scripting or automation for simulation flows is a plus.\nTravel Time:\n0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
