In this role, you will play a key role working towards the timely and quality delivery of Diode products. Your responsibilities will include repairing and maintaining all production equipment in our wafer fabrication facility to ensure all equipment are available to meet production needs in a safe and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues on the floor will contribute to maintaining optimal production performance. The ideal candidate should possess a solid mechanical and electrical aptitude, experience working with manual production equipment, and the ability to adhere to strict safety standards. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and professional growth and development opportunities.\nPerforming the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.\n\nTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.\n\nMaintaining current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.\n\nStudying equipment performance and reliability.\n\nEstablishing programs and solutions for increasing equipment uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.\n\nProviding technical support to the production operators and process engineering teams.\n\nDefining and creating preventative maintenance schedules.\n\nEnsure compliance with safety protocols and cleanroom procedures.\n\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nTechnical or Military training in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.\n\n7+ years of relevant equipment maintenance and repair experience.\n\nAbility to read and understand electrical and electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams and flow charts.\n\nExperience in component level troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits.\n\nExperience soldering and desoldering components on printed circuit boards.\n\nExperience troubleshooting and repairing cable harnesses.\n\nAbility to test and evaluate the condition of electrical components such as transistors, diodes, resistors and capacitors with an analog or digital multimeter.\n\nFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations related to equipment safety and performance.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDiploma in any Technical Field\n\nExperience working in Semiconductor manufacturing environment.\n\nDiode manufacturing and testing experience within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.\n\nExperience with MIL-PRF-19500 & / or MIL-PRF-38534 product manufacture is a plus.\n\nU.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States.
