We are committed to delivering reliable, high-quality solutions that perform right the first time.\nWe have an immediate opening for a Technician II-Product/Test position at our Garden Grove, California facility.\nThe Technician II-Product/Test performs electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing of electromechanical relays in support of production, qualification, and reliability programs. This position operates test equipment, records test data, and identifies product nonconformances in accordance with approved procedures, engineering specifications, and quality requirements while maintaining a safe and quality-focused work environment.\nWorking hours will be from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.\nEssential Responsibilities\nPerform production and qualification testing of electromechanical relays according to approved Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), Work Instructions (WI), and engineering specifications.\nSet up and operate relay test equipment, including Digital Multimeters (DMM), DC power supplies, Oscilloscopes (basic operation), Relay Functional Test System, HIPOT Test Equipment, and Insulation Resistance Test Equipment.\nPerform electrical testing including Coil resistance, Pick up and Drop out voltage, adjuster, resistance and dielectric, and Diode check.\nPerform visual inspections before and after testing to verify product condition.\nAccurately document test results, failures, and observations in manufacturing documentation and electronic databases.\nIdentify and report nonconforming hardware to Engineering, Quality, or Test Management.\nAssist with troubleshooting basic equipment and fixture issues.\n Verify test equipment calibration status prior to use.\nFollow ESD, electrical safety, and company quality procedures at all times.\nMaintain clean and organized workstations in accordance with 6S principles.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, and productivity.\nAssist senior technicians and engineers with test setup, failure analysis, and engineering evaluations as assigned.\nMeet production schedules while maintaining high-quality workmanship.\nSuccessful candidates are expected to demonstrate:\nEmployment stability, reliability, and sustained accountability in prior roles.\nEffective teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.\nIntegrity and accuracy in representing qualifications, experience, and credentials.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nAssociate degree or technical certificate in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.\nExperience\n2-3 years of experience in electronics testing, manufacturing, or aerospace production preferred.\nExperience with electromechanical relays or electrical assemblies is a plus.\nKnowledge & Skills\nBasic understanding of electrical fundamentals, including voltage, current, resistance, and ohm’s law.\nAbility to read basic electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.\nFamiliarity with standard electronic test equipment.\nBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).\nStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to follow written procedures and work instructions.\nAbility to work independently after training while recognizing when to escalate issues.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift up to 25 pounds.\nAbility to sit or stand for extended periods.\nManual dexterity required for handling small electronic components and test fixtures.\nAbility to distinguish wire colors and identify small component markings.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working in an aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of IPC workmanship standards.\nFamiliarity with ESD control procedures.\nExperience performing vibration, thermal cycling, and reliability testing.\nBasic understanding of relay construction and operation.\nU.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States.
