This proliferation is being fueled by advances in memory and compute technologies. High bandwidth memory (HBM) is at the forefront of these innovations. Micron’s Advanced Packaging Technology Development (APTD) is responsible to deliver package development for high performance memory products and transfer to manufacturing.\nJob Description\nAs a Process Technical Specialist in Advanced Packaging Technology Development (APTD) at Micron, you will work on industry-leading packaging process technology related to existing and new memory devices and technologies.\nIn this position you are expected to engage with your supervisor and the manufacturing groups in supporting the activities of APTD on the new technology implementation and process improvement activities to ensure the success of the new technology introduction and ramp. You will provide Process (PO) engineering support primarily through data collection, data extraction and analysis, usually in the form of experiment (SWR) and process conversion reports and making recommendations from it. You will be responsible for executing SWR logistics, monitoring the product line and lot disposition and helping to manage projects. Frequent interaction with software systems like Yield 3, JMP, Micron Central, MAM, SPACE, and GCP (Global Conversion Process) is typical and will learn to understand SPC charts, graphs, Spec Limits and process variations, and can suggest areas of improvement. You will also be expected to assist process development team supervisor(s) to manage Team Level Key Performance Indexes (KPI) and enhance or maintain operational procedures and process systems/tools.\nYour responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:\nAssist process owners on various daily tasks such as Cpk improvement, material disposition and engineering job submissions for analysis. \nData mining and analysis using advanced data analyzing tool and support cross-section measurements for failure analysis. \nAssist in inline inspection and coordinate non-routine metro/RDA inspection on R&D experiments. \nSupport process operations associated with development activities and perform process characterization. \nSupport new DID setup, new process system setup including SPACE/FDC/LMS/GerM. \nSupport TOPO management. \nSet up process GDM, GCP, SWR and new SPC charts for new process evaluation. \nMonitor key inline/probe/final parametric indices for any deviation and trigger first level of investigations promptly. \nCompetent in the knowledge and expert usage of Micron’s systems to perform routine operational tasks effectively (Micron Central/MAM/SPACE etc.). \nOwn or contribute towards activities and projects that improve APTD process operational procedures, systems/tools, process capability, yield, and quality. \nAssist process development team supervisor(s) to manage Team Level Key Performance Indexes (KPI) such as Global Conversion Process (GCP), SWR, WIP status. \nAbility to work in shift if needed. \nAble to multitask with proper documentation. \nAble to work independently with minimum supervision. \nRequirements :\nDiploma in Electrical/Electronics/Materials Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred. \nFamiliar with Microsoft Office applications. \nGood communication and interpersonal skills with a strong interest in working in a multifaceted environment. \nBasic computer language scripting skills (Python, SQL, visual basic etc) are advantaged.
