Business Operations Planning Analyst

As a Business Operations Planning Analyst in the Automotive Embedded Business Unit (AEBU), you will be central to managing demand and supply planning for Micron’s automotive products. You will work closely with Sales, Business Development, and Supply Chain teams to align demand forecasts with supply availability. You will use data analytics and AI tools to help guide business decisions and support ongoing improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate demand forecasting and planning efforts across tactical and extended timeframes with the help of planning tools (e.g., Rapid Response).
- Assess supply and demand alignment, detect risks (shortages/excess), and coordinate mitigation efforts with cross-functional groups.
- Prepare and present monthly business reviews, including key trends, cycle-over-cycle changes, and supply responses.
- Support product lifecycle transitions (EOL), including Last Time Buy analysis and inventory optimization.
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities, including AI-enabled solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Business Operations, Supply Chain, or related area.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and summarize data.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or MBA or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with supply chain or planning tools (e.g., Rapid Response, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Interest or experience in applying AI or automation to business processes.
