This individual-contributor role provides technical leadership and oversight of external architecture and engineering partners and matrixed project teams without direct people management responsibilities. You will help ensure build quality, constructability, schedule alignment, and successful project delivery from concept through construction.\nResponsibilities:\nLead engineering design activities from concept development through issued-for-construction design packages\nCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and external architecture and engineering partners to deliver safe, compliant, constructible, and high-quality designs\nLead design reviews, resolve technical issues and conflicts, and manage design-related risks throughout project execution\nPartner with construction, procurement, operations, and project collaborators to align engineering work with project milestones\nApply AI-enabled tools and technologies to improve design coordination, engineering workflows, decision-making, and project execution\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field\n8+ years of experience in engineering, design management, facilities engineering, construction engineering, or capital project delivery\n2+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, project teams, or consultants through influence in a matrixed environment\nExperience overseeing third-party architecture and engineering firms, engineering consultants, or specialty design partners\nStrong understanding of engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project delivery processes\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting semiconductor fabrication facilities, cleanrooms, advanced manufacturing, data centers, pharmaceutical facilities, or other critically important industrial projects\nExperience delivering complex facility, utility, infrastructure, or manufacturing system designs, including constructability reviews, design change control, multidisciplinary model coordination, or commissioning support\nSolid understanding of Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms\nProfessional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA), PMP, CCM, or similar professional certification\nExperience applying AI-powered tools to design management, project coordination, risk identification, document review, or engineering decision-making\nThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:\n$127,000.00 - $221,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.\nOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
