Role Overview
The Data Governance Analyst supports Global Procurement by enabling trusted, standardized, and AI-ready procurement data that drives productivity, business value, and transformation outcomes. This role plays a hands-on, execution-focused part in operationalizing data governance, improving master data quality, and enabling consistent KPI and program reporting across GP.
The analyst connects day-to-day data governance and stewardship activities to measurable procurement outcomes, reducing manual effort, improving decision quality, and accelerating adoption of analytics, automation, and AI capabilities.
This is not an IT or Business Intelligence role. The analyst partners closely with GP business teams, Master Data, Analytics, AI, and IT functions to align with enterprise data standards, controls, and approved platforms.
Key Responsibilities
GP KPIs, Metrics & Program Reporting
Support GP KPI frameworks by ensuring metric definitions, data sources, and calculations are clearly defined, standardized, and auditable.
Enable consistent, trusted program and transformation reporting by improving data reliability and transparency.
Partner with GP program owners to align reporting needs with governed data sources and approved definitions.
Data Governance & Quality Operations
Executeday-to-dayprocurementdata governance activities, including stewardship support, data quality monitoring, issue intake, and remediation tracking.
Support the procurement data stewardship operating model, including routines, escalation paths, and documentation.
Define andmaintaingovernance artifacts such as business glossaries, critical data elements, and business rules for key procurement datasets.
Track and report data quality KPIs (e.g., completeness, accuracy, duplication, timeliness) and supportroot causeanalysis with data and process owners.
Leveraging AI to improve productivity.
Procurement Master Data Management,Process Intelligence & Continuous Improvement
Performhands-onprocurementmaster data cleanup and standardization activities (supplier, category, material, contract, and reference data).
Coordinate with Master Data and process owners to resolve data quality issues at the source and prevent recurrence.
Support continuous improvement of master data processes and controls.
LeverageCelonisprocess intelligence and process mining capabilitiestoidentifyprocurement data quality issues, process inefficiencies, and root causesimpactingbusiness performance.
Partner with Procurement, Master Data, and Process Owners to translateCelonisinsights into actionable data governance, master data, and process improvement initiatives.
Support the development and monitoring of procurement data quality and process KPIs throughCelonisand approved enterprise reporting platforms.
Act as a subject matter expert for procurement process intelligence, ensuring data governance improvements are aligned to measurable business outcomes.
AIReady Procurement Data Enablement
Contribute to procurement master data strategyrequiredto enable AI, automation, and advanced analytics use cases.
Partner with analytics and AI teams totranslateusecase requirements into actionable data governance and data quality improvements.
Ensure procurement data is structured, labeled, and governed to beAI ready, with clear ownership, definitions, and quality thresholds.
CrossFunctional Collaboration
Act as a liaison between GP business teams, Analytics, AI, Master Data, and IT fordata relatedtopics.
Support alignment betweenprocurement specificneeds and enterprise data governance standards.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, orrelatedfieldrequired.
Advanced degree or certification in data management, analytics, or governance is a plus.
Practical experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) isrequired.
Experience
Minimum 7 yearsof experience in data governance, data quality,reporting andCelonisSME
Hands-on experience with master data management and data quality operations, preferably in Procurement or Supply Chain domains.
Basic knowledge of any Business Intelligence tools for Reporting such as Tableau/PowerBI is a plus
Experience supporting KPI frameworks,metricsdefinition, and program reporting.
Experience as aCelonisSubject Matter Expert (SME) or advanced practitioner is highly preferred, including application of process mining and process intelligence within Procurement, Supply Chain, or Master Data domains.
Hands-on experience withCelonisProcess Mining and Process Intelligence solutions, including process analysis, opportunity identification, KPI monitoring, and data-driven process improvement initiatives.
Experience leveragingCelonisinsights to improve procurement master data quality, governance, operational performance, and business process outcomes is strongly preferred.

Experience translating process intelligence insights into governance actions, business requirements, and measurable value realization.
